Remember that player evaluations for Minor leagues will be conducted on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Sportsplex, located at 1400 Foundry Street in St. Charles (just off Dean Street).
The list of times is posted on this website right NOW!!! It's on the left hand margin, under Evaluation Times. We have sent the list attached as an email to the familes as well.

SPRING 2010

WASCO BASEBALL offers opportunities for players ages 5 – 18*.
The season begins in April and concludes in late June with a league banquet at Elfstrom Stadium, home of the Kane County Cougars. Games are played at field locations in the Wasco/St. Charles area.

7-8 Instructional $155
9-10 Minor $190
11-12 Major $195
13-14 Pony $205
15-18 Colt $225
Player evaluations for Minor League will take place March 13, 2010.
All player evaluations will be conducted at Sportsplex in St. Charles. The list of times is on the left hand margin and has been emailed to the Minor League participants. If you are not on the list, and have registered, we will fit you in. See you then.
Remember to bring birth certificates for your player to the evaluations please!!!
NOTE: Rules for the various leagues are presently under review.

| | | | by Mark Kuzemka posted 02/28/2010 The Wasco Colt League season starts later than the younger league games - on June 1st - and the season ends later - at the end of July. The Colt league is for those who are in HS. Approximately 18 games are played, mostly on weeknights. Home games are played at Wasco fields, and away games are played in cities such as St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Oswego, Aurora and Sandwich. Teams are formed in early May and practice begins in late May. Registration remains open until mid-May, with no late fee. Please contact the Colt commissioner, Mark Kuzemka, at

The league is intended for those who have graduated HS, or will graduate by May 2010. There is no upper age limit for this league, but our expectation is that most players will be between 18 and 24 years old. Although college baseball players are invited to participate, we expect the majority of players will be young adults who just want to play baseball for fun. Approximately 18 games will be played, mostly on weekends. Home games will be played at Wasco fields, and away games are played in cities such as Geneva and Batavia. Players can team up to form a partial or full-team. Registration will remain open until mid-May, with no late fee. Full refunds will be provided if the league is not formed due to lack of interest.
