Dear Wasco Baseball Parent,

Wasco Baseball is fortunate to have many baseball fields available for use across all of its leagues.  Located at various venues throughout the area, we are thankful for the use of all of these fields.  In addition to the general rules that apply to all Wasco Baseball fields, some venues have a few additional rules designed to meet the needs of their specific locations.  This email is to remind everyone of the rules associated with the fields at Glenwood School for Boys and Girls as set forth by the school itself.  Thank you in advance for adhering to the rules and regulations of Glenwood School’s grounds.  We are looking forward to a great season and a continued working relationship with Glenwood School.  Also, if you see something at any field requiring attention, please bring it to the attention of any member of the Wasco Baseball Board of Directors know.

Rules for the grounds of Glenwood School Fields

1. Alcohol is not permitted at any Wasco Baseball field, regardless of age.

2. Parking:  All vehicles are to park in designated parking lot only.  No vehicles are to park over the curbing, on the grass area, in front of the dumpster or next to the fields.  At no time should a vehicle block any portion of the road, even for dropping off or picking up players or equipment. 

3. The Wasco Baseball agreement with Glenwood School is for the area of the baseball fields only.  Players and their siblings, friends and all others visiting the fields for games, should not to wander to other parts of the school grounds.  All visitors are to remain at the field only and are not to visit any other part of the campus.  Wasco Baseball does not have an agreement to use other parts of the Glenwood campus.

4. The entire Glenwood property is a school zone.  The speed limit on the entrance road up to the gate is 35 MPH and the speed limit for all other areas is 20 MPH.  Speeding on roads and parking lots is dangerous.  Please help keep our children safe.

5. Bicycles, motorbikes, motorized scooters or any other vehicles are not allowed on school property.  This includes the areas around the baseball fields.

6. Children should not be left unattended.

7. Wasco Baseball provides garbage containers at both fields.  Trash from baseball games must be picked up and deposited in these containers.  No items should be put in the dumpster or dumped on the school grounds. 

8. No pets are allowed on school grounds.  This includes dogs, even on a leash.

9. No open fires of any kind on school property.

10. Those who do not adhere to the rules may be asked to leave the property immediately by any Glenwood School staff member, the Wasco Baseball League or the Kane County Sheriff.

These rules reflect that Wasco Baseball and its members are guests on the campus of Glenwood School for Boys and Girls.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
