Coach Links for Wasco Baseball & SportsEngine

SportsEngine Training, Help & Links

Below you will find a few different resources to help you manage your Wasco Baseball team with SportsEngine. As a coach, the "Downloadable Coach's Guide" is the best resource to answer a lot of questions you may have about scheduling, messaging the team and managing your roster. Below you will also find a link to the Searchable Help Section for Coaches as well.

If you or your parents have questions or are looking to learn more about how to use SportsEngine, you can send them to the dedicated SportsEngine Parent/Athlete help section HERE.

If these help sections don't help, or you have additional questions, please email tech@wascobaseball.com and CC your Commissioner.

Adding Practices to SportsEngine

NOT ALL COACHES CAN ADD PRACTICES. DEFER TO YOUR COMMISSIONER TO SEE IF YOU ARE ABLE TO DO THIS.

If you are adding a practice, it is very important that you make sure the Field is available FIRST, using the instructions above. Once you have determined the field is available:

With the SportsEngine Mobile App

  1. Click "Schedule"
  2. In the lower right hand corner, click + Event
  3. Click "Add Event" (for a practice)
  4. Click "Notify Team Now" if you want an alert/email to go to your team about the new practice.
  5. Enter the Event Name; TeamName - Practice, Date & Time
  6. Under Location, select "Existing Locations" and select the correct field (ex: School 7). It's important you do not add a new location, for an existing field.
  7. Click "Add" in the top right corner.

On a Laptop

  1. Navigate to your "MySportsEngine" page here: https://user.sportngin.com/users/sign_in
  2. Click on your Team or on "My Teams" in the top navigation to access the Team Page
  3. Click on Schedule
  4. Click on "New Event" in the top right corner
  5. Click "Notify Team Now" if you want an alert/email to go to your team about the new practice.
  6. Enter the Event Name; TeamName - Practice, Date & Time
  7. Under Location, select "Existing Locations" and select the correct field (ex: School 7). It's important you do not add a new location, for an existing field.
  8. Click Add Event

Messaging Your Team

You can use the "chat" feature in the SportsEngine app. For your first communication with the team, I would use the instructions below to send a message, then let them know if you will be primary using the chat, so Families know where to look for your communications.

If you would like to SEND a message (that will send them an email):

While this can not be done in the app, it can be done via a browser (either on your phone, or computer).

  1. Navigate to your "MySportsEngine" page here: https://user.sportngin.com/users/sign_in
  2. Click on your Team or on "My Teams" in the top navigation to access the Team Page
  3. Click on "Roster"
  4. Click the top checkbox above the names, to select all players
  5. Click "Message" on the right side
  6. This will allow you to send a message, via email, to everyone on the team.
