Wasco Baseball Coach Information
Thank you for considering the important job of managing (or assisting) a youth baseball team. Here in Wasco we give you all the help you need to make your job of coaching more enjoyable. This includes a dedicated team of league commissioners, access to our director of player & coach development, and a preseason manager's meeting to answer any outstanding questions you may have.

Coach and Player Development Resources
If you are a new coach or a seasoned veteran, please take a moment to visit the Coach's Section for Wasco Baseball coaching guides, videos, scoring help and SportsEngine help.
This section provides a baseball 101 guide that breaks down the mechanics of throwing, fielding and hitting and drills that can be incorporated into your pre-season and/or in-season practice plans.
Our Director of Player and Coach Development is available to assist you and your team. Options include practice planning, team focused skills clinics and tips for coaches at all age levels.
Manager Registration & Membership
Background Check and Screening
Wasco Baseball has contracted with NCSI to process background checks on coaches and assistant coaches, every year.
MANAGER'S MEETING
The Spring Manager's meeting is: Monday, April 7th, 2025 at 7:00 PM, Elburn Firehouse on Rt 38.
Changes to Coach Registration in 2025
There are two additional steps this year for completing your coach registration. This process will make background check and screening process more seamless in the future.
Step One: Complete YOUR registration
Click on the link below to complete your coach registration.
Step Two: Complete your Membership
You will need to complete your membership one time per year (completing it in the Spring means that you won't have to do it again in Fall).
You'll receive the URL via email to complete your membership once you complete registration.
Step Three: Complete your Background Check
You will need to complete one background check every two years. The second year, the background check will re-run automatically with no additional input needed on your part.
Once you complete your membership, you will receive a link to the background check via email.
Your membership will show 'ineligible' until your background check has been completed.
