Coach Joe Nemetz is the Director of Player and Coach Development for Wasco Baseball. He is a recently retired high school English teacher and coach, having spent 33 years teaching and coaching at Schaumburg High School. While coaching football and baseball there, the Saxons played for a state title once in football and twice for a state title in baseball, winning it all once. He was very fortunate to work under Hall of Fame coach Paul Groot. Coach Joe is a member of the USA Baseball's NTIS Midwest Regional Staff and ABCA member as well. He is currently on staff at St. Charles North High School. He is also on staff with Caliendo Sports International, and has been to Italy and the Dominican Republic several times, working with players and coaches in those countries. He also provides private lessons upon request. He has been a part of Wasco Baseball since 2004, both as a team manager and an assistant travel coach until 2013 when he returned to high school coaching. He has been in his current position with Wasco for the last two years. He loves the game and loves to talk baseball and share his passion with others.
