Equipment Guidelines for Players

Tee Ball

Tee Ball is our league for Pre-Kindergarten.

Wasco Baseball provides the following to each Player:

  • Hat
  • Jersey

Wasco Baseball provides the following to the Coach:

  • Helmets
  • Baseballs & wiffleballs
  • Ice packs/bandages
  • Tee Ball Bats

Players should provide their own:

  • Water
  • Bag
  • Glove (used is preferred)
  • Gym Shoes (preferred but cleats work as well)
  • Helmet (encouraged, but not required as the coach will have extra)

OPTIONAL for Tee Ball Only (not for Intro to Tee Ball):

Pee Wee, Rookie and Farm

Pee Wee, Rookie and Farm are our leagues for Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade respectively. 

Wasco Baseball provides the following to each Player:

  • Hat
  • Jersey
  • Socks
  • Baseball Pants (parents can pick them up at Play It Again Sports in STC)

Wasco Baseball provides the following to the Coach:

  • Helmets (if needed)
  • Baseballs & wiffleballs
  • Ice packs/bandages
  • Catcher's Gear (Rookie & Farm only)

Players should provide their own:

  • Water
  • Bag
  • Glove
  • Cleats (preferred but not required, gym shoes work)
  • Helmet (encouraged, but not required as the coach will have extra)
  • Sunglasses (not required, but encouraged)
  • Batting Gloves (not required, but encouraged only for Rookie/Farm)
  • Bat (encouraged, but sharing is ok)

Single A, Double A & Triple A

Single A, Double A and Triple A are our leagues for 3rd/4th grades, 5th/6th grades  and 7th/8th grades respectively. 

Wasco Baseball provides the following to each Player:

  • Hat
  • Jersey
  • Socks
  • Belt
  • Baseball Pants (parents can pick them up at Play It Again Sports in STC)

Wasco Baseball provides the following to the Coach:

  • Baseballs & wiffleballs
  • Ice packs/bandages
  • Catcher's Gear (Given to Single A/Double A, can be requested at Triple A)

Players should provide their own:

  • Water
  • Bag
  • Glove
  • Cleats
    • Metal cleats are allowed at Triple A only. Players must bring a change of shoes if they will pitch (no metal cleats on the portable mounds). 
  • Helmet
  • Sunglasses (not required, but encouraged)
  • Batting Gloves (not required, but encouraged)
  • Athletic Cup
  • Bat
